Do I need interpreters?
Multilingual team
In this day and age, chances are your team is multicultural and multilingual. Make the most of this diversity by letting your team express their best ideas in their own language.
Business trip
Looking to extend your reach? Extend a courteous hand to your counterpart by making sure everyone feels comfortable in their own language.
Training
Training is key to keep up with new skills and knowledge, but training in a foreign language may limit outcomes. Make sure everyone benefits from the best training, whatever the language.
Communication
You’ve spent time and resources on crafting a product, a service, a message you want to share with the world. Don’t let those efforts go to waste, make sure the message gets across.
How do interpreters work?
Consecutive
For one-to-one meetings or interviews, or for small groups, consecutive interpreting is the solution: no technical equipment needed, your interpreter or team of interpreters will take notes and then translate questions and answers or short presentations.
Simultaneous
For larger meetings, for conferences or seminars, simultaneous interpreting provides for seamless and time-effective translation. Your team of interpreters will be working from a sound-proofed booth and listeners will follow every word in their headset.
Online
Some short meetings with people the other side of the world or training courses for people in different locations can be serviced through online conferencing systems. Your team of interpreters will work preferably from a hub – a technical platform with technicians at hand.
Abroad
Your interpreters can travel with you to the place you will be needing language support or can recommend local vetted colleagues through our network of professionals, AIIC, International association of conference interpreters.
In any case, your interpreters will need all the information available about the event,
who’s who and what’s at stake to prepare and deliver the best interpretation on the day.
AIIC interpreters are bound by strict confidentiality rules and professional standards.
